Generation Steel is advancing the next generation of steel manufacturing in Australia, converting 100% Australian scrap steel into high quality low emission steel for customers who need quality, Australian-made steel at a competitive price. Most steel used in Australia today is imported. Generation Steel is changing that with a modern electric arc furnace mill, fed by Australian scrap steel, to produce rebar, coil and a range of merchant bar products at a quality and price that competes directly with imports with the added benefits of being some of the lowest emission steel produced globally and supporting high quality jobs locally.
